Job Summary:

The Sales Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maximizing sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, helping others and will have excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build relationships.

What you will do:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the store.
• Assist customers in finding products, providing recommendations, and answering inquiries about features, prices, and availability.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products and services offered, including new arrivals, promotions, and sales.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and POS system operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking merchandise, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
• Proactively engage customers to understand their needs, offer assistance, and upsell additional products or accessories.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively communicate product benefits and advantages to customers.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Participate in inventory management, including conducting stock counts, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with inventory replenishment.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining security and loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize profitability.
• Continuously strive to improve product knowledge and sales techniques through training and development opportunities.

You will be great for this role if you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in sales coupled with strong retail customer service is preferred.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Comfortable with performance being measured by sales quotas, KPI’s and targets.
• Great communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build quick rapport and speak professionally with confidence.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system for processing transactions.
• Must be able to work fluctuating schedules which will include days, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be comfortable with constant standing, walking, and kneeling.
• Lifting up to 40lbs consistently
• Ascending and descending ladders
